Mohammed Polo insists the Black Stars have the depth in quality to finish off the business in Cairo when Ghana battle Egypt in the return leg of the 2014 World Cup play-off.

The West Africans will travel to the North African country on November 19 for the crucial return leg that will decide which of the two teams qualify to the global piece in Brazil next year.

The Ghanaians are the overwhelming favourite to secure passage to the tournament following their resounding 6-1 win from the first leg in Kumasi last month.

The ex-Ghana international is confident the current crop of players have the mental toughness to scale the Cairo threat.

“These are professionals who have seen it all at the highest level. I have no doubt in my mind that they will return from Cairo with qualification,” Polo said

“I don’t see the threat. Of course the Egyptian must believe that they can stop us. It’s within their right.

“But the fact that you believe doesn’t mean you can make it. We’re capable of going there to finish off the business.”

The Black Stars will camp in Turkey ahead of their trip to Cairo for the BIG showdown.
